Tomorrow, Thursday June 25, 2026, is the last operational day of the school year!

Don't forget to apply for the school bus by August 5, 2026 if your student is new or if they will have a change in address or school in September.

The Student Portal will open in early July.

Thursday, April 16, 2026:

Due to dense fog conditions currently occurring and expected to continue in some areas, school bus and taxi transportation is cancelled in Tri-Board’s Centre Hastings, Belleville & Quinte West, and Prince Edward County weather zones.

Schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day.

Additional cancellations and delays may occur this morning in other weather zones depending on local conditions.

Planning on using the school bus on the first day of school next year? The deadline for applications is August 5. If your student has never used the bus before or will have a different school or address in September, an application needs to be submitted to Tri-Board. Apply online

Tuesday, April 7, 2026:

Due to the heavy snow received in some areas overnight, school bus and taxi transportation is cancelled in Tri-Board’s North Hastings & Centre Hastings weather zones today.

A bus is cancelled in a weather zone if it serves a school or has a bus stop located in the weather zone.
Buses may be cancelled in other weather zones based on localized forecast conditions.

Friday April 3 and Monday April 6 are holidays. Transportation will resume on Tuesday, April 7.

Busing is suspended next week and will resume on March 23rd (pending inclement weather decisions).
Tri-Board is closed during the break and will reopen on March 23rd. Applications will not be processed during this time. Email/Phone messages will be returned when we reopen.

Due to expected freezing rain, school transportation is cancelled in Tri-Board’s central and northern weather zones today.

SOME schools are closed in these weather zones. Families will receive info from their school if their school is closed.
