Minsan I get frustrated and naiisip ko 'bakit wala akong natutupad na dreams ko' π but this tweet 7 years ago made me realize that my dreams are happening one step at a time and I trust that my BIG dreams are just yet to come true π
Everyone talks about distancing yourself from someone but no one talks about the grief in having to stand firm on a decision knowing it's not what you want, but it's what you need for your well being
I Told my Therapist:
βI feel safest when I do everything alone.β She didn't even ask why. She just said, "That's not independence. That's grief. And I swear. I felt something in me break open.
Because it is grief, isn't it? Grief for every time you asked for help and no one showed up. Grief for being the child who had to hold it all together while everyone else fell apart. Grief for realizing way too young, that no one was ever really coming to save you. You didn't choose to be strong. You had to be.
Hoy, Nobody knows how much you suffered this year. You almost gave up and almost lost yourself because you were hurting a lot. Nobody really knows how many times you pulled yourself together just to survive this year. This may be the most painful year for you.I'm so proud of you.
