A warm visit from the Lagos State delegation to the International Labour Organization Conference in Geneva comprising labour leaders and government officials. The delegation was led by the Honourable Perm Secretary, Ministry of Establishments and Training, Olubusola Abidakun, and ably supported by Chairman of NLC, Lagos State, Comrade Agnes Sessi. We were joined by the Nigerian Amb to the WTO, H.E. Dr. Adamu Mohammed Abdulhamid, and the WTO Chief of Staff, Dr. Bright Okogu. Click on the video to hear the solidarity expressed. Many thanks for the visit and let’s look forward to building a Nigeria focused on job creation and seizing the opportunities from global and regional trade.
I am truly honoured and humbled to be recognised as one of the 2026–2027 African DOers Laureates @theafricandoers alongside some of the continent’s most inspiring sons and daughters.
To be acknowledged amongst visionary leaders, changemakers, and innovators across Africa and the diaspora is a privilege I do not take lightly. This recognition is not just about me, but about every survivor, every girl, every woman, and every community that continues to fight for dignity, justice, and transformation.
My journey has never been easy, but moments like this remind me why we keep pushing forward. Thank you to African DOers and TROPICS Magazine @tropicsbusiness African’s number one magazine for this incredible honour.
