I’m all for cultural diversity as long as everyone is Canadian first. For example I’m not stupid enough to think if I moved to China that I could get by without learning to speak Chinese. It seems like that’s been lost. I’ve known of people who live here a decade or more and can barely understand how to communicate in English. People need to assimilate if they move to a foreign country. Don’t expect me to be ok with the BS we see happening now.

Ugh it breaks my heart and also fills me with a red hot rage that I know isn’t healthy.

We just lost one of our little ones kind of unexpectedly, naturally in his sleep here at home thank God and losing them in any way is pure devastation but to lose two to poisoning makes my heart just break for you and your family. I’m not a violent person by any measure but I would go to war if I saw some monster putting out poison.

Several years ago I started finding what we thought were chicken bones very near the street facing fence of our backyard and I was ready to live out there to find the culprit. Turns out, thankfully that it was just the gang of magpies in our neighbourhood who had been digging through trash and dropping the cleaned bones in our yard. Ever since then I regularly scan that area just in case because the thought never left my mind.

I firmly believe that organized Religion has lost its way. In a lot of ways it’s being used as a method of control and I say that as a Christian who grew up going to Church. I haven’t investigated it but I do wonder if there’s any Church’s that are different and aren’t so fire and brimstone into control.
