After the midterms, the @TheDemocrats should prohibit DSA members from running as Democrats. DSA is a radical insurgency from within. It seeks to get strong enough to either splinter or hijack the Democratic Party.
Enough. Stop their sneaky strategy in its tracks. Ban DSA.
"Morris Katz hyped Platner as a Bernie Sanders successor who could captivate the progressive base of the Dem Party better than AOC, who he saw as a losing nominee, two Democratic sources revealed. One reason Katz favored Platner’s chances over AOC was that he’s a man."

Graham Platner blamed everyone but himself for the implosion of his campaign. The "establishment" is not responsible for your disgusting behavior, Mr. Platner. Grow up and take some personal responsibility.
Then disappear.
BREAKING: Maine Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Graham Platner has announced he is suspending campaign operations and intends to file paperwork to withdraw from the race, while denying recent allegations against him as "false" and arguing political pressure, not the allegations themselves, made it impossible for his campaign to continue.
We are an organization that mostly researches and monitors the Religious Right. We have a Center Against Religious Extremism. However, recent bigoted actions by anti-Jewish zealots are in league with hate campaigns we have seen on the far right. These discriminatory "protests" targeting Jews must stop. If you are using fascist tactics, don't call yourself a progressive.
🚨 “There was a disgusting display of Jew hatred in the Hamptons this weekend at a restaurant.
Protesters set up shop there.
They weren't in front of the Israeli Embassy.
They chose a business owned by a Jew, and that's '30s Germany stuff.”
H/t @DonnyDeutsch
Daniel Moraff and Leanne Fan should retire from politics. They screwed the Democratic Party, Maine, and the entire country. Thanks for choosing a lowlife for a key Senate race. If these clowns are too unsophisticated to not intuitively know that more shoes would drop with Platner, they are in the wrong profession.
What a bizarrely glib interview with the consultants who picked Platner, conducted by the WSJ.
When it serves certain people, they are willing to ignore anything. But if the world makes any sense, it will come back to bite them eventually.
These Red State heroes may not agree with me on everything, but they do represent the America I love. It’s why Project 2025’s intolerant vision will eventually falter, and JD Vance’s divisive career will ultimately collapse.

Chris Cuomo (of all people) just effortlessly unmasked Tucker Carlson as a Russian propagandist.
Cuomo: “I'm a journalist. I'm not allowed into Russia. Why are you allowed in?”
Just watch how Tucker squirms.
The antizionist movement is packed with useful idiots who don't know anything. Queers for Palestine should go to Gaza for "Palestine Pride" and report back how is turns out. We will anxiously await...
Governor Josh Shapiro’s house was burnt down.
Congressional candidate Scott Weiner was harassed until he left a Pride March.
Representative Jared Moskowitz received hateful voicemails threatening to kill all Jews.
Representative Dan Goldman was banned from a coffee shop and his office was vandalized.
Harassing and attacking Jewish lawmakers is an attempt to push Jews out of public life.
That is not criticism of Israel. It is the end of a free society.
@fakedansavage What happened to Wiener is shameful and disgusting. Who the hell do these obnoxious, self-righteous, bigoted gatekeepers think they are?
Donahue is the latest in a long line of generals and admirals Trump has removed, without explanation and without any evidence of misconduct. Some were political targets, and the list is heavily weightedtoward women and minorities.
Hegseth must go.

@sfstandard@jennwadsworth These whackos are disgusting, violent, bigoted thugs who mobbed up on Wiener because he is Jewish. They are egotistical narcissists who do squat for real Palestinians. They promote hate and are the enemy of peace. What a disgrace to the LGBT community
@sfchronicle The antizionist movement has degenerated into an ugly, violent, worthless mob of bigoted thugs. Worse, it’s egotistical virtue signaling that oozes antisemitism, yet has failed to accomplish anything of value on behalf of actual Palestinians.
These lunatics are shitting on an ally because they don’t like his position on Israel. Mind you, they’re trans activists. They have nothing to do with Gaza. Now, feel free to support the Palestinians over the Israelis. But when you’re a relatively powerless movement in America, and still facing massive discrimination that’s growing every day because you are regularly targeted by the president and the party in power, you don’t shit on a powerful supportive ally because they don’t agree with you on a totally unrelated issue. This is a really good way to lose those allies, and lose on your issues. At some point, you need to decide if you actually wanna win and help your people, or whether you’re just here to play games and feel good about yourselves while you’re being destroyed.
The angry antizionist movement’s decades of failure have led to frustration. Having saturated the earth with its hateful message since 2023—it still has accomplished nothing to help Palestinians. Zip.
This strategic incompetence has led extremists within the movement to resort to increasingly aggressive, belligerent and extreme measures—from vandalism to public harassment campaigns, designed to drive Jews from the public square, to violence blurring the line of terrorism. This monstrous bigotry and disgusting intolerance—hypocritically couched in the name of social justice—must immediately stop. Or actions must be taken to halt the spread of such antisocial behavior.
Senator Wiener’s Statement on Physical Intimidation and Harassment of Political Leaders
SAN FRANCISCO – In two separate incidents this week, Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) was harassed, threatened, and physically intimidated while attending public events to engage with the San Francisco community. Both incidents were sparked by people who had previously targeted Senator Wiener with aggressive behavior in the past. Senator Wiener issued the following statement on the incidents:
”Last night I attended the trans march, as I’ve done each year for the past 22 years since the first march in 2004. I attend each year in solidarity with our trans siblings, who are facing existential threats from right wing extremists, including the President. It has been a deep honor to partner for many years with trans people to advance legislation and budget requests to support the community.
”As I walked through Dolores Park to participate in a trans-led Pride Shabbat service in connection with the trans march, a group of people began screaming at me, ran up to me, surrounded me, and began harassing me, both verbally and physically, including physical contact. They made statements about my ‘Israeli handlers,’ among many other inaccurate, extreme, and vile statements. They were so physically and verbally aggressive that it was impossible for me to safely remain in the park. As a result, I left the park and, for the very first time, did not participate in the trans march.
“This follows an incident Wednesday night at a bar in the Mission where I’d gone to watch a World Cup game. During the game, a man accosted me in a corner of the bar, effectively cornering me and the young women staffers who were with me. He screamed abuse at me and our staff before being ejected by the bar’s employees. After being ejected, the man remained outside the bar, shouting my name and pounding on the side of the bar near where I was sitting for several minutes. The same individual, in December 2023, stalked me on a plane and in an airport, shouting at me about my ‘tainted bloodline.’
”I have no objection whatsoever to anyone disagreeing with me, opposing me, or protesting me. All of that is core to democracy. I also have no issue when people talk to me on the street and ask questions or express opposition. That’s democracy, even when the people engaging in this conduct misrepresent my views.
“But when opposition and disagreement transition to harassment, including cornering me, touching me, or trying to physically bully me out of a public event, that crosses a line. We’re living in a time when violence is all too often threatened or used against people in public life. In San Francisco, we’re better than that.”
