@MrsRieB I paid PUK £20 for a letter stating what meds and why for a trip to Cape Verde. I couldn’t get clarity from any authorities here or there. No one checked, but like you I was fretting over the implications of CDs. Good luck.
@keirshiels Your account was (is) an important part of the Twitter I curated for myself years ago. Thank you.
Everything you’ve said in this thread resonates with me. I’ve been winding down, but lack the gumption to set a farewell date. Wishing you joy, luck and peace.
Okay, so yesterday, @rocketspouse and I went out to lunch at our favorite local Mexican restaurant. I've been working like A LOT and didn't feel like cooking.
So, we sit down, we're having a nice lunch, only one other person in the place, a retired gentleman.

@MrsRieB I’ve been rationing the dose for a few weeks now. Today was the first working day I’ve not taken them. Holy fuck, it was painful to be reminded how hard I’ve found things since forever. 😣
With the national ADHD meds shortage, it’s really important that we ND folk look after ourselves.
That starts with a healthy breakfast to really set the tone for the day.
The most wonderful day finally meeting the beautiful, hilarious, kind Andi and her charming fella, over from the US!
I took them on a merry dance across 8 miles of London landmarks and pubs, and only got lost a handful of times.
I had the most fantastic day today with @tubbytitwitch! We’ve been penpals for 3 yrs & finally got to meet in person for the first time. We spent the day walking around london, laughing at stupid stuff, and eating incredible food. So at least 1 good thing came from the pandemic.
@Andifine The most awesome day! My face hurts from laughing. My feet hurt from 8 miles of walking…
I knew I should’ve snapped up this Borough Market bargain! Turns out we don’t actually have any leftover Thresher Shark in the fridge at home! 🦈 😂
@Philippa_Perry Also, clinical diagnosis is expensive, lengthy, often fairly traumatic, and therefore not an option for many people.
Self diagnosis is valid.
@Philippa_Perry Many of us who’ve “escaped diagnosis” only discover our authentic selves long into adulthood.
After 20+ years of repeatedly being told that our challenges are due to flaws of character, forgive us if we celebrate the knowledge and acceptance that comes with diagnosis.
