أتقدم بخالص الشكر والتقدير لفخامة الرئيس الدكتور رشاد محمد العليمي، رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي، وإخوانه أعضاء المجلس، على ثقتهم التي أولوني إياها لتقلد منصب وزيرة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين، وهي مسؤولية كبيرة في مرحلة مفصلية من تاريخ بلادنا.

كما أتقدم بالشكر لدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور شائع محسن الزنداني، على ما بذله من جهود مخلصة خلال قيادته للوزارة، وما حققه من إصلاحات. وهي مناسبة أُثني فيها على كادر وزارة الخارجية والبعثات الدبلوماسية — الذين أتشرف بالانضمام إليهم والعمل معهم — لما بذلوه من جهود في ظروف استثنائية وصعبة، وسنعمل، بالتنسيق مع القيادة السياسية والحكومة، على تحسين أوضاعهم، وتمكينهم من أداء رسالتهم.

ندرك، أنا وزملائي في وزارة الخارجية، أننا أمام مهمة وطنية جسيمة في مرحلة حساسة، ويقع على عاتقنا توظيف الدبلوماسية بفعالية للدفاع عن مصالح اليمن العليا، وصون سيادته ووحدة ترابه ونظامه الجمهوري، والدفاع عن خيارات اليمنيين ونضالاتهم لاستعادة دولتهم، وإنهاء انقلاب مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية — وما جرَّه على اليمنيين من مآسٍ إنسانية، وتدميرٍ لمؤسسات الدولة، وتهديدٍ لحاضر اليمن ومستقبله على نحوٍ لم يعهده اليمن في تاريخه — واستعادة الدولة بمؤسساتها الشرعية، التي تحتكر السلاح، وتبسط سلطتها على كامل أراضيها، وتحمي الحقوق والحريات، وتصون كرامة اليمنيين، وترسخ سيادة القانون، وتحقق العدالة والمواطنة المتساوية، بما يعيد اليمن إلى مسار الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية.

إن أمن واستقرار اليمن، بموقعه الجغرافي الاستراتيجي، وشعبه العربي الأصيل، ركيزةٌ أساسية لأمن واستقرار ورفاه المنطقة، ولا يمكن، بأي حال من الأحوال، القبول باستخدام اليمن منصةً لتهديد أمن دول الجوار أو الإضرار بمصالح الدول الشقيقة والصديقة، أو تهديد أمن الملاحة والتجارة الدولية في البحر الأحمر ومضيق باب المندب، خدمةً للمشروع التوسعي الإيراني ، وطموحات مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية لتحقيق أهدافها السياسية عبر ابتزاز المجتمعين الإقليمي والدولي.

سنعمل في الوزارة بكل حرص ومسؤولية، بتوجيهات القيادة السياسية، وبروح الفريق الواحد، لحشد الدعم الإقليمي والدولي، وإيصال رسائل وسياسات الدولة وقضاياها العادلة للعالم، وتعزيز الشراكات الفاعلة مع الأشقاء والأصدقاء، وبالتكامل مع جوارنا العربي وتحالف دعم الشرعية بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية، التي وقفت إلى جانب اليمن انطلاقاً من روابط الأخوة ووحدة المصير في مختلف المجالات، كما سنحرص على بناء علاقات متوازنة قائمة على المصالح المشتركة، ومبادئ حسن الجوار، والاحترام المتبادل، بما يجسد إرث اليمن وتاريخه الحضاري، والتزامه بالأعراف والمواثيق الدولية.

سيكون المواطن اليمني، في الداخل والخارج، في صدارة أولويات العمل الدبلوماسي، وسأبذل، أنا وزملائي في الوزارة، قصارى جهدي للارتقاء بالخدمات القنصلية، وتسهيل الإجراءات، وتعزيز التواصل مع الجاليات اليمنية، والاستفادة من الكفاءات والخبرات الوطنية في الخارج. فالمغتربون اليمنيون كانوا على الدوام سندًا لوطنهم في أشد الظروف، وهم كذلك شركاء في بناء مستقبله، ولم يكونوا يومًا بمعزل عن همومه وتطلعاته.

The World Travel & Tourism Council (@WTTC) today launches the search for the 7 Contemporary Wonders of the World 🌍

The greatest landmarks, buildings and destinations built since 1801 — chosen, for the first time in history, by everyone.

The age of wonder never ended. We simply stopped looking.

Paris proved it in 1889, with a tower critics called impossible. Bilbao proved it in 1997, when a single building turned an industrial city into a global destination. And in 2025, Egypt — home to the only ancient wonder still standing — proved it again, opening a new one beside the pyramids.

A wonder is never just a structure. It draws the world to a place, fills it with visitors and livelihoods, and gives a nation something to celebrate — and something to build on.

Under the leadership of WTTC President & CEO @GGuevaraM, the campaign will run for exactly one year, from nomination to coronation:

🔹 7 July 2026 — Nominations open to everyone, everywhere
