Neural networks might speak English, but they think in shapes.
Understanding their rich *neural geometry* is key to understanding how they work – and to debugging and controlling them with precision.
Starting today, we’re releasing a series of posts on this research agenda. 🧵

Scientists have created one of the most detailed 3D reconstructions of a human cell (eukaryotic cell) ever produced.
This groundbreaking model, often termed a "Cellular Landscape Cross-Section Through a Eukaryotic Cell," combines data from X-ray tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and cryo-electron microscopy to map molecular structures in extreme detail.
The web is disappearing 🕳️
According to a Pew Research Center report, 26% of pages from 2013-2023 are no longer accessible.
But that’s not the whole story.
In a new study published in Internet Archive's book, VANISHING CULTURE, data scientists working with the Wayback Machine have found:
16% have been restored through the Wayback Machine.
56% are preserved before they disappear.
Preservation is the remedy for cultural loss.

this is insane lol
japan is running out of monks... so they're training AI robots called "buddharoid" to replace them 😂 (im not joking):
- japan's temples are closing because fewer priests are available to run them + aging population
- the solution: chatgpt robots trained on 1000+ years of buddhist scripture that answer your spiritual questions
- the robot even sits in religious prayer positions like an actual monk does.
you can literally have a conversation on life's deepest dilemmas with a robot as smart as the dalai llama
i cannot believe they're scaling these robots to run actual temples.
He created a device that lets paralyzed individuals control phones, tablets, and computers with only their tongue.
Created by MIT-trained engineer Tomás Vega, the device sits on the roof of the mouth and works like a wireless trackpad.
One of the most unforgettable days on the ocean. She trusted her instincts and did what felt right. While she doesn't advocate touching wild animals, there are rare moments when
intervention is necessary. It was clear the dolphin was in distress, and her reaction afterward —along with the response of the pod-confirmed the decision.
Dolphins are extraordinary, intelligent creatures. Experiencing this while pregnant made it truly once in
a lifetime.🐬🩵

This gives natural fibers a whole new meaning!!!
Textile made from plant roots, that are truly natural.
Zena Holloway is spearheading this idea and I think she is on to something. As you can see for now she is using wheat to germinate and root in very particular pattern.
