Important TurtleSwap / Turtlelabs update.

After reviewing the regulatory risks around MiCA and what this means for DeFi products operated from Europe, we have made the decision to wind down the TurtleSwap / DEX side of Turtlelabs.

From 1 July 2026, the following @TurtleSwapV features will be disabled:

- Trading / swaps through the TurtleSwap frontend
- Adding liquidity through the TurtleSwap frontend
- Pool 2 Earn

Removing liquidity will remain available through the TurtleSwap frontend.

This means users will still be able to remove their LP positions after 1 July. We are not locking users in or forcing a rushed withdrawal. The goal is to stop new DEX activity through the TurtleSwap frontend while still allowing users to exit their LP positions responsibly.

The TurtleSwap smart contracts themselves are deployed on-chain and will continue to exist as long as the underlying VeChain network remains operational. What we are winding down is the TurtleSwap frontend, active maintenance, incentives, and our role as the operator of the DEX experience.

Third-party tools or aggregators may still be able to interact with the on-chain contracts independently. However, this would not be operated, maintained, promoted, or endorsed by Turtlelabs.

The final Pool 2 Earn payouts will take place on 29 June 2026. After that, Turtlelabs will no longer run Pool 2 Earn incentives for the SQUAD/B3TR and VET/B3TR pools.

We will also move our own $SQUAD liquidity to BetterSwap, so $SQUAD can continue to have liquidity available outside of TurtleSwap. This only refers to Turtlelabs-owned liquidity, not user LP positions.

This also means that LP-based multipliers will be removed from @Bubbles2Earn after 1 July 2026, since those multipliers are based on TurtleSwap pools. This change only applies to the LP multiplier system connected to TurtleSwap pools. Bubbles itself is not shutting down.

We understand this is short notice, and we are sorry for that.

This is not an easy decision. TurtleSwap was built to bring more DeFi utility to the VeChain ecosystem, and we still believe deeply in that vision. But protecting Turtlelabs, the team, and the community has to come first.

Turtlelabs itself is not disappearing. This decision is specifically about TurtleSwap / DEX-related functionality. We will now focus on finding a safer and more sustainable direction for Turtlelabs going forward.

Thank you to everyone who used TurtleSwap, provided liquidity, supported us, gave feedback, or believed in what we were building.

This one hurts, but it is the responsible call.
