Female-identifying students in grades 6-8 across #TVDSB attended Girls in Aviation Day on Tuesday! Students had the opportunity to visit interactive stations featuring industry partners, providing early exposure to careers & inspiring diverse pathways in STEM & aviation.
In May, the Parent Councils at Central Elgin CI, Arthur Voaden SS & Parkside CI partnered together to host C.A.M.P. (Connection. Awareness. Mindfulness. Purpose.) – a family evening to support student mental health, learn about online safety & connect with community partners. 🏕️
Clara Brenton's School Council partnered with Oakridge Secondary School's Oakbotics team to host the 2nd annual Robotics Night for Grades 4-8 on May 5! Students learned about the exciting possibilities available at Oakridge through hands-on STEM activities, demos & 3D printing.🤖

In April, four TVDSB schools welcomed Cam Milligan of @OntarioLacrosse to teach students lacrosse skills and drills! The visit was supported by @fnmitvdsb who provided learning resources about the historical significance of lacrosse, as well as @London_Lax. 🥍
Turtle Island Public School celebrated the school’s official opening ceremony on May 20. Featuring student performances and a video presentation, it was an exciting day for the whole school community!
