Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chairperson, NDMC, Shri @dwivedimk_ias a cleanliness and anti-littering drive was undertaken at A Block, Connaught Place .
Using the Public Address (PA) system, shopkeepers and visitors were sensitised to use designated dustbins and adopt responsible waste-disposal practices. The initiative reinforces NDMC’s endeavour to create cleaner, greener and litter-free public spaces , while encouraging citizens to become active partners in keeping Connaught Place pristine.

Under the “Delhi Ko Kude Se Azadi – Swachhata Abhiyan 2026”, NDMC, in partnership with NGO Chintan, conducted an awareness session on waste segregation at Jor Bagh, with the active participation of domestic helpers.

The session focused on four-way waste segregation—wet, dry, sanitary and special care waste, along with responsible disposal channels for plastic, e-waste, paper and clothes. Participants were also sensitised on hygiene and RRR (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) practices.
