@DaveDawson7 Fajardo wasnβt as hated by fans as is being painted right now. But I have heard Saskatchewan mentioned ten times more than Anthony Calvillo tonight and therein just might be the difference
"Saskatchewan" has been mentioned more than God in these #GreyCup celebrations.
But hey, Jeremy O'Day "has an excellent track record of identifying and bringing in quality talent to the Saskatchewan Roughriders." - Craig Reynolds
#CFL
@TweeterMillsCBC A not insignificant number of Riders fans hate the Saskatchewan Roughriders too at this point. I think the organization's days as the shining jewel of the CFL are long gone, the heel turn started shortly after the 2013 season.
You really gotta give credit to Shawn Bane and Sam Emilus: They were so good this season that Craig Reynolds was able to ignore 15,000 empty seats, back-to-back 6-12 seasons, and a GM who traded away a back-to-back CFL MOP and two-time Grey Cup champion.
#CFL#Riders
@KHudgeon That's irrelevant. It makes no difference.
But I will say this (again): I thought they should keep Collaros, I thought he could be great again, but I also recognized his injury history and got caught in the Fajardo hype. I was wrong. Very wrong. You?
@cflisthebest@GregOnSports@stadnek@PifflesPod Who built the offensive line the past three years?
The O-line in 2018 (prior to O'Day) was tied for fewest sacks allowed in the CFL and second-best in rushing.
I'm not clouded. I see all ;)
@cflisthebest@GregOnSports@stadnek@PifflesPod I ain't losing anything.
Where did Fajardo lead them? Where is he now? If you are still tied to Fajardo, then what about the GM who let him walk as well?
This is also way too many different tweets so keep all my valid arguments in one place.
@cflisthebest First: He was traded to Toronto, actually. If you wanna question me about facts, get em right.
I agree in part with some of this. I also defended Fajardo when he was hot. I was wrong. So was O'Day.
But I did not agree with trading Collaros. I was right.
@GregOnSports@stadnek Hindsight teaches you valuable lessons.
What about accountability?
99% is a stretch.
And there are far more flaws I'll be exploring.
Bring me on the @PifflesPod. My un-retirement from Twitter or X or whatever this garbage is called won't last long.
