The shutdown isn’t over it’s on pause! Take what victories we can get! 43 days but 2 months worth of bill/expenses. Some govt workers lost a lot missing out on paychecks even though they will be back paid for some it’s too little too late!

168 hours during the week…. Not being able to put in at least 2-4 hours a week doing extra training because of a “too busy” schedule doesn't sit well

This internet age has young athletes thinking that just because they are on the field of play that everything they do is a highlight.

Ok this is getting out of hand. Player reached out to me to help him find a place to hoop after he got “left” in the portal. He said he averaged 19.3ppg. I asked him to send me film and got no response. These kids today a DIFFERENT smh

It some of these “AAU” coaches would stop suppressing information because they not gettingnoaid off it there would be ALOT more faster stronger athletes to compete!

@pbasilstrength Training should have sport specific aspects but we here Dont train for the “sport” that's their coaches job! We make sure they are fast, strong, healthy and keep good recovery.

every athlete that wants to play on the varsity level in high school should be playing for a scholarship to go to college I think it’s a waste of time for someone to spend three or four years getting on varsity and playing varsity for them not to want to go to college

@pbasilstrength Yes. The rule at a certain Highschool in the Baytown area is that if you don’t run cross country you cannot be in the Soccer Class.

Parent: we don’t need to train today I wanted to come talk about how leaving the district works.

Me: Oh I can’t help with that

Parent: well my son injured both knees again so we are out of her.

If a coach tells my son that he will cut him for going to seek outside training and development even though it doesn’t interfere with school sports I’d get that coach fired for discrimination

Off for some athletes is going to get some extra workouts and training. Where time off to other athletes means gummie bears and fornite. I believe that the only week they should have off is 4th of July week. Its 168 hours in a week. 4-6hrs a day!
