@Avesvery This would put Anakin into a self imprisoned Bacta chamber to keep himself alive, and in time MAYBE getting newer limbs to recoup what Vader stole from him, but I think thats a stretch to think Anakin would ever willingly walk again.

@Avesvery I think Anakin surviving only works if everyone thinks/knows Vader is dead. Anakin most likely would put himself into meditation exile and only consult with Luke/Leia. I would see Anakin actually destroying everything Vader was, armor, and all Robotic limbs aswell.

The real reason? Cause it's poorly animated. Hence why we never see lips make contact with the cup, the game cuts right before Edward drinks. They are cutting corners and it shows

@asdasdf293 @mightydudbolt As you said, Anakin blindly followed "Father Figures" in the PT. He had no guidance, neither did Luke. While Vader didnt know this exactly, ofcourse he will tap into Anakins feelings towards what father figures should do. Manipulate, cheat and steal.

Yup. Outsourcing your control and decision making to a Slop Slot Machine is why AI doesn’t make sense in the Arts. Whatever it spits out, you can’t explain why you “chose” that detail, because you didn’t choose anything.

@sightONsound @bloodoftheland Tbf, I have seen Doug Chiang concept art for EP. II with Obi / Ani in black garb fighting Dooku.

I think it could have been a concept they were playing with, but scrapped it for various reasons, id say namely because "The bad guys wear black" is a storytelling trope in SW.🤷

@asdasdf293 @mightydudbolt We did see that represented in the prequels, with Anakin gaslighting Padme about being able to overthrow Palpatine, create an Empire for themselves, and disregard all the carnage Anakin/Vader commited to arrive at that point

Anakin wanted Padme to blindly follow because marriage

@driftingin2014 @HumbIeSatBoy @KraytMcGraw Exactly. Once the OT and PT are looked at side by side you can clearly see George had influence on 1-6, through nearly every step of the filmmaking process.

Noone has to "like" the PT, but to say they are as different to the OT, as Alien 1-3 are to Men in Black is just wrong.
