What a job that @WU_baseball has been doing this season under Ryan Lewicki in year eight.
Wheeling just took a weekend series against Frostburg State, who going into the series were winners of 17 straight, and are now in sole possession of first place in the MEC North.
Not too shabby for a team leading the conference in hitting .316. Leading the charge is Edward Mateo (pictured), who is second in the conference with a .418 average and leads the conference with 24 stolen bases.
On the flip side, it's good to have an ace in the rotation and Sebastian Khan (pictured) is filling that role beautifully. He has the ERA lead at 2.03 in the conference after throwing a complete game with 9 strikeouts in Game 1 of the series.
Khan is now won four straight decisions and six of his last seven.
Wheeling has tied the most wins in a season under Lewicki, just how far do you think they will go?
