@Dexerto Why would you need to turn off shorts? 1- don’t use the shorts feed. 2- when you see shorts pop up on homepage/search/suggested either don’t click or you can tell YouTube “show fewer shorts”. That’s not even counting the “filter” feature which can phase out shorts entirely.
@Dexerto Respectfully - this is a bad idea. It only works if people vote in good faith and it’s biased towards early voters.
If viewers don’t like clickbait, don’t click. That’s how you actually get creators to stop using clickbait.
I just want people to like me. And I want to just be myself. But only one of these things are in my control. so I'm just gonna keep making what inspires me. And you're free to interpret it how you want. I just hope that rather than try to tear me down, you spend your life-blood on something worthwhile.
People put way too much stock in what one video says about you as a person. Whether you like a video or not - you have no idea who the person you’re watching really is or isn’t like in real life.
People on the internet think their negative feelings about something is more worth sharing than the positive feelings people have about something.
In other words - hate is “in” and appreciation is “out”.
@mws I see what you mean, but I don’t think there’s any true way to rank importance. If your video is absolutely atrocious but your title and thumbnail are immaculate, what good is that?
Ultimate ‘chicken or the egg’ paradox.
