Here's my preliminary analysis for this weekend's snowstorm over North Carolina.
This storm will be one for the record books in a lot of NC.
Hopefully, I'll be able to find some time later this week to look at South Carolina.

.@NWSGSP had been calling what played out yesterday for the entirety of last week. Even early on in the forecast discussions. I-85 corridor and east of I-77 were the hot spots from just about day one.
Another reason to follow your local NWS office and stay informed. While models can be all over the place – these offices stay steady and committed to giving you the best forecast possible.

@NWSGSP any data on single-day snowfall records for Cabarrus County? I know specifally Kannapolis would be harder being split between Cabarrus and Rowan.
