This performance also marks an important milestone as the Choir prepares for its March 2026 American Celebration of Music Tour in Scotland and England. Many choir members are first-generation students, and international travel would not be possible without community support.

ATTENTION: Delayed Opening | Monday, Feb. 2
To ensure the safety of our campus community following the recent weather event, the university will have a delayed opening tomorrow, Monday, February 2, 2026. This delay allows Facilities Management additional time to clear walkways, building entrances, and parking lots. Please remain off campus during the early morning hours so crews can work safely and efficiently.
⏰ Operational Timeline
• Campus reopens: 11:00 AM
• Academics: Classes starting at or after 11:00 AM will meet in person. Classes scheduled before 11:00 AM will be virtual.
• Business operations: Meetings scheduled before 11:00 AM should be rescheduled or moved to virtual.
🍽️ Dining Services Update
Due to heating issues at L.A. Davis Dining Hall, meals will be served from the Delta Cafeteria:
• Brunch: 10:00 AM–1:30 PM
• Light Lunch: 1:30 PM–4:00 PM
• Dinner: 4:00 PM–7:00 PM

The National Weather Service is forecasting inclement weather that may impact Pine Bluff and surrounding areas. The safety of our students, faculty, and staff is always the University’s top priority.
As weather conditions evolve, UAPB leadership closely monitors:
• National Weather Service forecasts
• Local and state closures
• Arkansas Department of Transportation guidance
• Road and campus conditions
If changes to classes, events, or business operations are necessary, updates will be shared no later than 6 a.m. through official UAPB channels. In the case of late-developing weather, additional updates may be issued later in the day.
If the campus closes, classes will move to virtual instruction. Students and employees are encouraged to use their best judgment and avoid travel if conditions are unsafe.
