The Government of BC has added 65 new nurse practitioner training seats across BC at @UBC, @UNBC and @UVic.
Future nurse practitioners, future care. Right where it’s needed.
With the support of the BC Government, @UBCNursing now hosts the largest nurse practitioner program in Canada, admitting 60 students each year.
Our new facility, near Surrey Memorial Hospital, is officially open and our first cohort of 30 students have begun their training.
Our government is expanding access to primary care by adding 65 new Nurse Practitioner training seats at UBC, UNBC, and UVIC.
With new seats now available throughout BC, students can train closer to home and serve their communities.
