It was 74° and cloudy in Western NY on this late afternoon as a worker sprays the apple trees in order to keep pests and fungi away before the harvest. Sprayers are on the front line to harsh chemicals as they work from tractors often w/poor filtration for hours. #WeFeedYou
"Mario" is picking plums in CAs San Joaquin Valley. "The most dangerous part of the job is making sure not to fall off the ladder. We carry our bucket in front of our chest so the plums don’t fall or get damaged. This makes balance hard. I work 8 hrs/day for min wage. #WeFeedYou
