🛴 Electric scooters are fun, but can be dangerous if not used correctly. Our safety experts say wearing the correct helmet for your speed, riding solo, and showing courtesy to pedestrians are key to avoiding injury. Children under the age of 16 should only use devices that are restricted from reaching high speeds.
Our neonatal and pediatric transport teams provide rapid transfers for sick or injured babies and kids, both on the ground and in the air. These specially trained teams serve as a safe and efficient link between hospitals. https://t.co/W7fitQygg5

Ignacio Ponseti, MD, created a non-surgical treatment for clubfoot at our hospital nearly 80 years ago, and he and his successor, Jose Morcuende, MD, have taught doctors around the world about the treatment. The result: Hundreds of thousands of children born with clubfoot have been able to walk and run. An international symposium held in Iowa City next month will bring more than 300 international doctors together.
