⭐️ Champion Coaches: Spotlight Series ⭐️

Morgan Rogers has led the Grand Oaks Grizzlies to four district championships and back-to-back UIL Class 6A State Championships in 2023 and 2024. Rogers earned her 400th career win in 2024 and has helped more than 30 student-athletes continue their volleyball careers at the collegiate level.

Starting August 1, schools will implement mandatory UIL Heat Protocols and Procedures for all outdoor athletic and marching band activities.

The protocols require the use of Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) readings to monitor environmental conditions and inform activity modifications when needed.

Whitney Bernard has spent 19 years coaching and teaching at Canyon Randall High School. In 2025, she led the Lady Raiders to the program’s first UIL Girls Soccer State Championship and earned Coach of the Year honors. Bernard owns a career coaching record of 294-112-49 and has helped establish Randall as one of the state's premier girls soccer programs.

Congrats to Amarillo High School volleyball coaching legend Jan Barker on her induction into the @NFHS_Org National High School Hall of Fame! 🏐👏

Barker was formally inducted yesterday during the Hall of Fame ceremony, highlighting a career that included 31 seasons at Amarillo High School, a 1,116–175 record, and 10 UIL State Championships.

Coach Monesha Allen has compiled a 502-287 record at Denton Ryan, earning her 500th career win during the 2025-26 season. An eight-time District Coach of the Year, she led Denton ISD's first girls basketball state championship team and has made 12 playoff appearances while making a lasting impact on generations of student-athletes.
