🇬🇧The UK is proud to support inclusive livelihoods in Myanmar.
Pooling their resources, skills, and creativity to build something truly their own, their small cottage business is thriving. They design their own patterns, and each member takes multiple roles from production and quality control to marketing and accounting.
Living in a region cut off by conflict and economic hardship, they spotted an opportunity in something simple and local — weaving. With support from a UK-funded project, these ten LGBT individuals came together to form a cottage weaving business.
In #Myanmar, survivors of conflict related sexual violence face lasting harm and severe barriers to care.
