SAAM is nationally recognized every April to raise awareness about sexual and gender-based violence. More information to come from the OIE, especially for Denim Day: April 29th!

In addition to February being Black History Month. It is also American Heart Month, be sure to get your routine checkups to help prevent cardiovascular disease.
To kick off black history month we would like to commemorate and recognize Dr. William P. Hytche Sr. Dr. Hytche was the longest serving President of UMES (21 years).
