#KenyaCooperationFramework
A new era of development cooperation begins in Kenya 🇰🇪
The Government of Kenya's KES 2 billion investment in #NextGenKE reflects a new model of development financing, where countries lead by investing in their own national priorities, with partners supporting delivery and scale.
@UNDPKenya thanks the Government for its trust and is committed to delivering results for Kenya's youth.
Kenya is a youthful nation. Turning our demographic dividend into economic growth requires investing in skills, workplace experience, and jobs.
#NextGenKE is doing exactly that by connecting young Kenyans to opportunities that will shape the workforce of tomorrow.
The Hon. Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury @JohnMbadiN and @UNDPKenya Resident Representative @JLStalon have signed a landmark agreement formalizing the Government of Kenya's KSh 2 billion investment in the #NextGenKe Youth Employment Programme, implemented by UNDP.

Today's momentous signing of the UN Electoral Support Programme 2026 to 2028 is a powerful reminder that democratic elections go far beyond the conduct of voting.
As Kenya prepares for the 2027 General Elections, this collaborative milestone is an essential opportunity to support national partners to enhance resilient institutions, deepen public trust, and safeguard peaceful processes.
We remain fully committed to partnering with all stakeholders to foster an inclusive, transparent, and credible process that ensures every Kenyan voice is heard. 🇰🇪🇺🇳 @IEBCKenya

A successful electoral journey relies on robust partnerships and national ownership. It was a privilege to join the @IEBCKenya Chairperson, the UN Resident Coordinator, and a wide array of government, development, and civil society partners today to affirm our shared investment in Kenya's democratic future.
The United Nations brings more than just technical assistance. Our goal is to provide impartial support and global expertise that strengthens Kenyan institutions to successfully lead the electoral process themselves.
We look forward to working alongside all stakeholders to advance a peaceful, credible, and transparent path to 2027. 🇰🇪🇺🇳
