iEXCEL is a transformative model for health care education, training and research. Incorporating a wide range of simulation and visualization technologies.
Check it out! One of iEXCEL's Advanced Simulation Specialists, Max Knight, provides background on debriefs, and how they can reinforce the topics and techniques covered in a simulation!
Students recently took a test drive of iEXCEL’s virtual reality infant exam experience, gaining hands-on practice in a realistic, immersive environment! Thank you to the @UNMC_Pediatrics team for their expertise & leadership bringing this innovative learning experience to life.
Clinical excellence starts with practice! Simulation at iEXCEL provides a safe environment for learners to build confidence, refine skills and prepare for real-world patient care.
This week, our CHRI Summer Undergraduate Research Program students had a great time trying out virtual reality medical training modules at @UNMC_iEXCEL. @UNMC_Pediatrics
Yesterday, we got to join clerkship and Summer Academy students as they got hands on experience in pediatric medicine @UNMC_iEXCEL. Really cool training and technology in use to provide an introduction to child health. @UNMCCOM@unmc
With @ShapesXR, teams can rapidly design, prototype, and test immersive training concepts directly in-headset with SMEs — helping identify what works (and what doesn’t) before committing to production.
That’s exactly how @UNMC_iEXCEL accelerated the design of immersive VR training tools like Skullbase VR — created to help neurosurgery and ENT residents better understand the complex anatomy of the skull.
By prototyping in 3D early, they reduced iteration time and streamlined the path from ideation to development.
