On this final day of #Naadam, my heartfelt thanks to Governor B. Tserennadmid of Arkhangai for the warm welcome. It was a joy to celebrate with Arkhangai’s people, witness the opening ceremony showcasing Mongolia’s proud nomadic heritage, and even try my hand at archery.
In Uvs aimag, met Governor E. Nasanbat to discuss priorities on digital transformation, human development and green growth.
We exchanged views on climate action, herder resilience and sustainable tourism. Appreciated the construction of a bike path from the city to Uvs lake.

Every second counts in a water emergency.
From 2021–2025, emergency responders rescued 329 people from water-related incidents in Mongolia.
Know the risks. Stay calm. Learn safe rescue practices.

Met with Tsaatan reindeer herders at Khuvsgul Lake. Despite isolation & limited services, they preserve a unique culture and adapt through resilience & tourism.
Khuvsgul Lake, inscribed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2022, is one of the world’s largest pristine freshwater ecosystems and a cradle of biodiversity. Pleased to witness local conservation efforts and grateful for UNESCO’s support in protecting this natural treasure.

Visited Amarbayasgalant Monastery built between 1727 and 1736 to honor Zanabazar, Mongolia’s first Bogd Gegeen. Despite destruction during 1930s purges, 28 temples remain, restored with UNESCO support. A living testament to resilience and faith.
