Please follow the steps below to apply for an individual TIN if you possess a National ID:
1. Please Visit the URA web portal, https://t.co/sHQzi007LB
2. Hover your mouse over Domestic Taxes
3. Click on Get a TIN
4. Click on Instant TIN Application
5. Click on click to apply for an instant TIN
6. Select Individual as the applicant category
7. Enter your correct National Identification Number (NIN) and date of Birth which will auto-populate your name. The order for selecting the date of birth is the year, month and day
8. Fill in all the additional mandatory information. Ensure to select an income source and provide your email address
9. Verify the information and submit. A TIN should be generated instantly

For you to create an account, you need to reset your password.

You can change your password by following the steps below:
1. Visit the URA web portal, https://t.co/sHQzi007LB
2. At the top right-hand corner, click on login and select portal
3. Click on forgot password
4. Enter your TIN as Login ID and the registered email address
5. Click on submit
6. A default password will be sent to your registered email address
7. Repeat steps 1 and 2
8. Log in with your TIN and the password that has been sent to your email. Upon logging in, you will be prompted to create a new password
9. Under the field for old password, please put the password that was sent to your email and create a new password of your choice

Note: The password should contain at least 8 characters. It should have a capital letter, special characters for example $, & and/or numbers.
