Among them were Kurdish families who fled war in Syria, including the city of Kobanî. Trapped in administrative limbo, many spent months, or sometimes even years, at the refugee camp waiting for the chance to begin their lives again.

This short documentary follows one Kurdish family's search for stability and a future, exploring what human dignity means in Europe today.
