OPINION:
The talent on #USF’s roster is good enough to capture a spot in the CFP.
The question is if the Bulls’ work on the field this season will be enough.
If #USF wants to make the College Football Playoff this season, the Bulls have no choice but to do something they have never done before — go undefeated.

OPINION: #USF went .406 against conference opponents, finishing outside the top eight in the standings.
For a program still rebuilding its identity under Mitch Hannahs, missing the tournament after making it a year ago marks a step backward.
A hot start, a historic win and a late collapse — #USF baseball’s 2026 season had it all, except for a postseason berth.

#FSU BOT Chair Peter Collins said the transfer portal system prompts player movement because agents profit when athletes switch schools.
“There is zero incentive for an agent today to have their client who is in the portal stay in the university they are at,” he said.
#USF Athletics CEO Rob Higgins said schools are increasingly facing “uncertified agents” during transfer portal negotiations and recruiting conversations.
As a solution, he proposed a statewide certification system, agent directory and attestation process.
On April 30, the Florida BOG Task Force on Intercollegiate Athletics saw speakers discuss possible solutions for college sports — including agent certification rules and collective bargaining frameworks after professional leagues.
