On 2/29, Jermaine ATKINS (36) of Westfield was arrested by members of the USMS Carolina Regional Fugitive TF w/the valued assistance of state/local LE in Myrtle Beach, SC & the D/MA Fugitive TF. ATKINS will be extradited to MA to be prosecuted for MURDER in the HC Superior Court.

Kidam Oquendo & Alexis Medeiros were wanted in connection with a fatal shooting & firearm offenses. OQUENDO & MEDEIROS were apprehended Friday evening in Gardner, MA by the MAFTF, RIVOTF, MSP VFAS, WPD, & Gardner PD. This was the result of collective efforts & shared resources.

Six fugitives were arrested by the Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force during "Operation Washout" in the Springfield area last week. This violent crime reduction initiative targets individuals w/violent felony warrants (homicide, robbery, sexual assault, 94C, & firearms offenses).
