The Cavaliers figure to start the 2026-27 season ranked in the top 15 nationally, but thatโs not โwhat we're worried about,โ Mallory said. โWe want to be this year's team, so not really worried about outsiders saying what we need to do. We're just trying to do our best.โ ๐ถโ๏ธ๐ท #GoHoos

Nearly two decades after first working together, @CoachRedAutry and @Coachryanodom are colleagues again, this time with @UVAMensHoops. "I'm so blessed and lucky to be here," says Autry, who spent the past 15 years at Syracuse, the last three as head coach.

Welcome to Detroit, Ugonna!
OFFICIAL - The Detroit Pistons announced today that the team has acquired the draft rights to Ugonna Onyenso, the No. 53 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Ugonna Onyenso is a very intriguing pick for the Pistons after trading Isaiah Stewart and with Jalen Duren facing free agency. Onyenso became one of the most feared shot-blockers in college basketball at Virginia. He had 21 blocks across three ACC tournament games, including nine against Cam Boozer in the championship.
He lays a brick wall around the basket, though he has heavy feet when guarding on the perimeter and is still developing his offensive skill set. But much like Beef Stew though, he has flashed a jumper.
Onyenso entered college without a perimeter skill set, but over his final two years he made 74% of his free throws. And as a senior he attempted 36 3-pointers while making 10 of them. His mechanics look smooth, and it may only be a matter of reps that he develops into a reliable spot-up shooter. Maybe in Detroit itโll become a fully realized skill.
