They also discussed the construction of a suspension bridge over the Trishuli River to provide long-term connectivity to flood-affected communities in Nuwakot District, Nepal.
Defence Partnership: Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS) of the @NepaliArmyHQ, General Ashok Raj Sigdel, met with Lieutenant General Sir Charlie Collins KBE DSO and Lieutenant General Paul Griffiths CB at the @DefenceHQ UK Ministry of Defence yesterday.
They discussed the longstanding military partnership between the two countries, including military education and professional development. Both armies provide expertise through training, exchanges and other forms of cooperation that benefit both the British and Nepali army staff.
