I can't believe I have to defend this fucker, but this is like...a lukewarm take at best. Probably one of the more sensible takes I've seen yet. She does have a young face especially in a few of these shots. It's not a weird thing to point it out. The only time it's weird is when you want to think of her in a sexual way. You're the weird one if you're thinking it...
Asmongold goes off and defends himself after receiving massive backlash for saying that Stellar Blade: Blood Rain character “Evie” looks too young and that her voice doesn’t match the character 👀
“Let me get it all the way out there: I'm still gonna play this game. I don't think that this is inside of the danger zone, but I just think the character looks a little bit too young for my taste, and I wish that she had a more adult looking face. If that bothers you, too bad”

@YoyoThedud80327 Right. This is how Final Fantasy used to be developed. Use that foundation to iterate over the last and then its an improvement each time. OG FF games used to do this all the time. It's also why FFXIII-2 was, in a lot of ways, better than FFXIII and Lightning Returns.
@BiceCavan@WillOspreay RKO, German Suplex, Elbow Drop, and Power Slam are the ones I've used in the game. I think there's a couple of others that I can't name right now.
Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung Tae has revealed that the game’s central theme was inspired by Battle Angel Alita and born from witnessing a taxi drivers’ strike over fears of autonomous vehicles replacing human workers.
“The story came to my mind one day as I witnessed taxi drivers on strike. The strike erupted when self-driving car technologies began advancing, almost hinting at their near-future implementation.”
Watching those events led him to wonder what would happen if humans themselves were replaced by something non-human.
“As I watched them on strike, I asked myself what I would do if this were to happen to me—if one day humans were entirely replaced by something non-human. This is where the theme for Stellar Blade originates.”
Kim said that the team wanted to create an action-adventure game first and foremost.
“We tried to create an action-adventure game that players can enjoy as they follow Eve’s story.”
Some users who previously praised and defended God of War’s Laufey are now claiming that the new Stellar Blade panders to pedophiles by sexualizing a minor with its protagonist.
One comment reads:
“Evie looks like she’s 12–14 years old in Blood Rain.
Sexualizing adult-looking women is one thing, but pandering to pedophiles by sexualizing girls who look like children or young teenagers is something entirely different.”
Expect a lot of this in the next months
Naoki Hamaguchi says regardless of feedback, he refused to reduce the number of minigames in Final Fantasy VII Revelation:
"The request to reduce the number of minigames is a difficult one. I have a very clear policy that I don’t want to change, no matter how much feedback we receive. After all, the original FFVII had an enormous number of minigames. This remake series exists because of the original game, and respecting the original is one of our core policies.
More than in previous installments, we’ve made it so that you don’t have to engage with minigames if you don’t want to. For example, when it comes to minigames tied to battle progression, players who wanted to focus on combat ended up feeling forced to play them. To address that, minigame rewards are now largely unrelated to combat progression. Instead, they offer things like character skins and customization options, so that only those who want to play them are encouraged to do so. Meanwhile, battle progression and the like are tied more closely to combat-oriented side content. Overall, I think the game is much more comfortable to play than past entries.
That said, I imagine there will always be players who dislike a particular minigame but still want its rewards. To help with that, we’ve added difficulty settings specifically for minigames. So now you can lower the difficulty to “Easy” if you wish, and if you try a minigame and immediately decide it’s a lost cause, you can also skip it right away. We’ve made a number of improvements aimed at minimizing frustration.
In that sense, we’ve done everything we reasonably can. We won’t reduce the number of minigames, but we will continue making every effort to ensure as many players as possible can embrace them."
