અમદાવાદના આંગણે આજે એક નવો ઇતિહાસ રચાયો છે.

માનનીય વડાપ્રધાન શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીએ વર્ચ્યુઅલ માધ્યમથી ઉપસ્થિત રહીને અમદાવાદ ખાતે વિશ્વની સર્વપ્રથમ 'વર્લ્ડ યોગાસન ચેમ્પિયનશિપ 2026'નો ભવ્ય શુભારંભ કરાવ્યો હતો. આ અવસરે પૂજ્ય યોગઋષિ સ્વામી રામદેવજીના સાનિધ્યનો લાભ પણ મળ્યો તેનો મને આનંદ છે.

આ પ્રથમ વર્લ્ડ ચેમ્પિયનશિપમાં વિશ્વના 77થી પણ વધુ દેશોના સ્પર્ધકો ઉત્સાહભેર ભાગ લઈ રહ્યા છે.

આ ખાસ અવસરે માનનીય વડાપ્રધાનશ્રીએ પ્રેરક સંદેશ આપીને સૌ સ્પર્ધકોને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા હતા અને યોગને રોજિંદા જીવનનો ભાગ બનાવવા સૌને આહવાન કર્યું હતું.

This platform has brought together Yoga enthusiasts from around the world. It is a significant milestone on the global sporting roadmap for Yogasana. I will be joining the event via technology as well at around 6:40 PM tomorrow evening. My compliments to those who have organised such an innovative event and best wishes to all taking part.
