I really appreciate the opportunity to speak with Local 1526 longshoremen at Port Everglades about the issues affecting our community and Congressional District 20.
My plan calls for a $3 billion Port Everglades expansion to create more good-paying union jobs, bring in more passenger ships, grow cargo operations, and make sure our people benefit from the economic growth happening right here in Broward County.
This is about jobs, jobs, jobs — for longshoremen, truckers, construction workers, small businesses, and families across this district.
My opponent has represented this port since she was elected to Congress, and the question is simple: What has she done for the workers and the people connected to this port?
I’m not going to Washington to sit quiet. I’m going to fight for port expansion, working families, and real investment in District 20.
We have a real movement going on here. People from all across the country are getting involved and stepping up. This isn’t just about Congressional District 20 anymore — it’s about the future of the United States of America.
People are tired of politics as usual. They want leaders who understand their struggles, fight for their communities, and put people before special interests.
The energy is real. The support is real. The movement is real.
We’re building something bigger than a campaign. We’re building a movement for the people.

Make this make sense.
They’re talking about giving the people who stormed and attacked the U.S. Capitol reparations.
In the Donald Trump Iranian deal they’re receiving reparations in the Tune of around 300 billion for their repair
When slavery ended in America, slave owners received reparations.
Slaves nothing.
When will Foundational Black Americans—whose ancestors were enslaved in this country—receive reparations and repair?
That’s the question.
My answer is simple: when I get to Congress, I’m going to fight like hell to make sure Foundational Black Americans finally get the reparations and repair they deserve.
Everybody else seems to get compensated. Everybody else seems to get relief. Everybody else seems to get a check.
When is America going to pay its debt to the descendants of the people who built this country?

This young man understands my history and knows how long I’ve been fighting for our community. He knows that when I say I’m going to fight for Congressional District 20, I mean it.
Don’t take my word for it—just listen to him. The people know who has been in the trenches, standing up and delivering for our communities for decades.

The Fort Lauderdale Hurricanes should be receiving funding from the Children’s Services Council of Broward County. Period.
Don’t give me the excuse that they didn’t apply. This program has been serving kids and families in our community for decades. When an organization is impacting that many young people, there should be outreach, support, and a pathway to funding.
We talk all day about investing in our youth. Well, here is a program that has been doing the work for generations. If they’re not receiving funding, somebody needs to explain why.
Our kids deserve better.

Had a good conversation with @davidjollyfl candidate for Governor of Florida. We talked about several issues affecting Floridians, including why he chose not to weigh in publicly on Debbie Wasserman Schultz entering the CD-20 race.
While we may not agree on everything, I respect having honest conversations. My position remains the same: the people of Congressional District 20 deserve to decide their future, not political insiders.
I’m focused on talking to voters, earning their support, and fighting for the people every day.

This proud young lady is a reminder of exactly why I’m running for Congress.
There are times when I ask myself, “What am I doing?” Then I meet young people like her and I’m reminded of the mission.
We talked about her dreams, her goals, how proud she is of her mother, and the difficult decisions young people are forced to make in today’s economy. I reminded her that too many of the obstacles facing our communities didn’t happen by accident. For years, career politicians have made decisions that left neighborhoods behind, limited opportunities, and made it harder for working families to get ahead.
That’s why I’m in this race.
I’m fighting for the silent majority. I’m fighting for the people who don’t have lobbyists, special interests, or a voice in Washington. I’m fighting for young people like her who deserve a fair shot at success.
Without sharing her personal story, I can tell you she has a bright future. I promised her that if elected, I will fight every day to create opportunities and remove barriers so young people can achieve their dreams.
And if Washington sends me there, they’re going to hear from the people they’ve been ignoring for far too long.

I’ll take an endorsement from the Neighborhood Pioneers any day. These are the guys who have been in the trenches from day one, putting in the work for the people of Pompano and Deerfield Beach when nobody was watching.
Their support means something because it’s earned in the community, not bought with special interest money. These are the voices of the neighborhoods, and I’m honored to stand with them as we fight for the people of Congressional District 20.
We fight. We win.

Barack: You told me all those years ago that you couldn’t promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. Of course, you outdid yourself and managed to give me both.
Eight years in the crucible, and not once did you melt from the heat. Not once did you let it harden you. Instead, you used it to reveal your truest essence: your stubborn optimism and unflinching courage, your dazzling brilliance and unpretentious decency, your ferocious work ethic and absolutely unshakable moral fiber.
Challenging David Jolly on his silence about Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Will reporters press him now? The conversation about standing firm and not shying away from tough stances continues. #PoliticalDrama#Accountability
100 million voters stayed home. Why? Apathy. People don't realize voting impacts school funding, healthcare choices, and support for the homeless and veterans. Voting is integral to daily life. #CivicDuty#VotingMatters
