Australia has renewed its commitment to Rohingya children with a new multi-year contribution of USD 11.4 million (AUD 16 miilion) to UNICEF. This funding will secure health, learning, nutrition, protection, and clean water through 2028.
This critical support will directly reach children in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasan Char. Flexible funding like this ensures resources go exactly where a child needs them most. In 2025 alone, this impact reached over 637,000 people. 🌏
In a meeting with the Honorable Home Minister, the Government of Australia has committed USD 11.4 million/AUD16 million in multi-year funding to UNICEF to sustain life-saving support for Rohingya children and host communities in Bangladesh.
