Excited and honored to be in Taiwan with a delegation of US elected officials from across the Southeast. We kicked off our trip with a meeting at the Ministry of National Defense and spent today meeting with the Deputy Mayor of Taichung. Sumter, SC is proud to be one of 29 “sister cities” with Taichung City. We ended the night meeting members of the Legislative Yuan, where I got to meet Vice President and fellow Gamecock Johnny Chiang!
