Today, Ambassador Goettman met with Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno and Economic Minister Luis Caputo in Buenos Aires. Ambassador Goettman highlighted Argentina’s remarkable economic and fiscal transformation under the @JMilei Administration and welcomed the opportunity to deepen our countries’ economic relationship.

Ambassador Goettman also underscored the importance of ratification of the Agreement on Reciprocal Trade and Investment (ARTI), which was concluded earlier this year, in order to fulfill our shared economic vision.

The U.S. will continue to honor its commitments and understands that the Argentine government has made significant progress and intends to also fulfill its commitments, including reducing tariffs on U.S goods. The U.S. looks forward to working with Argentina to fully implement our ARTI to unlock economic benefits for both of our countries.
