The hardest part wasn't the code. It was deciding what a security tool should say to someone who doesn't know what calldata is, and making that verdict trustworthy.

Seven weeks ago I had a smart contract security tool that worked, and that nobody could use.
Through @DevrelUni Cohort 7 I built the missing pieces: a MetaMask Snap that warns you before you sign a transaction, a dual-view risk report that speaks both developer and plain English.
Calyx does. GNN vulnerability detection on raw bytecode (no source needed) + calldata verification that would have flagged the Bybit transaction before signing.

I wrote a piece on why smart contract security tools have a $1.5B blind spot, and what I'm building to close it.
The Bybit hack wasn't a code bug. It was a UI manipulation attack: the wallet showed one thing, the calldata did another. No existing audit tool catches this.
Shipped a risk report UI for Calyx this week.
The problem: Calyx's pipeline output, AM findings, GNN exploit probability, CFG obfuscation scores, makes sense to auditors. It means nothing to a protocol founder deciding whether to interact with a contract.
So I built a two-view interface. Overview for non-technical users. Full technical detail for devs. Same analysis, two lenses.
The hard part was deciding what to say at each risk level. "Do not interact" vs "proceed with awareness" carries real weight when it's a security tool.
The calldata said "approve unlimited." Nobody caught it before signing.
Calyx catches that. Now I'm building the demo that shows how.
Nervous to share work-in-progress publicly. Doing it anyway. Follow along 👀

DevRel Uni Cohort 7 challenged me to build in public, so here we go.
I'm shipping an interactive demo for Calyx, a blockchain security tool I built that catches UI manipulation attacks in real time.
The Bybit hack ($1.5B, Feb 2025): the wallet showed "transfer."
one of DeFi's most respected protocols.
I've been on the community side to know that good DevRel isn't about marketing. It's about trust.
Applying to @DevrelUni Cohort 7 to build that trust with intention, not just instinct.
Humbled to be in the room. Ready to do the work.
I started in crypto at BanklessDAO in 2020, publishing education content with no paycheck, just a belief that more people deserved access to this space.
That led to ETHVietnam, where we brought Web3 workshops to 1000+ students. Then Kyber Network, writing technical docs for...
A historic moment for crypto.
Kraken Financial has been granted a Federal Reserve master account, making us the first digital asset bank with direct access to the U.S. payments system.
A major step toward connecting crypto infrastructure with the core rails of global finance.

The Bhutan government (@gmcbhutan) just launched the world's first @Solana-backed visa for digital nomads:
- Buy $10,000 worth of TER, tokenized gold on Solana + $2,800 application fee
- Stay up to 36 months in one of the world's most beautiful countries
- Get $10k back at the end

🚨 WARNING (AGAIN)
DPRK threat actors are still rekting way too many of you via their fake Zoom / fake Teams meets.
They're taking over your Telegrams -> using them to rekt all your friends.
They've stolen over $300m via this method already.
Read this. Stop the cycle. 🙏
Mastering Ethereum: Second Edition is officially out for free on github.
You can read it directly on github or on masteringethereum/./xyz if you prefer that UI.
Enjoy the book and let us know if you like it.
my biggest fear as an industry has been that we are not attracting enough young people to come here as builders
far and few college grads now compared to 4-5 years ago.
we can’t have unc domination like this so i think investment in content, working closer with blockchain clubs, more hackathons and mentorship will be key.
we’re already on top of this at the EF.
the average 20 something startup founder should realize there is a much higher chance for asymmetric success here vs in ai, and we must show it to them.
more soon.
