@glasbrenner And, for the first time in my life, Drew, I observed the aurora OVERHEAD here in SW Ontario, Canada. Having grown up in New Hampshire, I’ve seen a number of auroras off to the north…but NEVER have I observed them occurring overhead!

@K7AGE @DAILYDX @DX_World @arrl Randy, most of the REST of the world’s administrations never bought into the ARRL/FCC “Incentive Licensing” nonsense where our bands are cut up into smaller and smaller pieces based on license class and operating mode. In Canada, I can operate ANYWHERE on HF….and in any mode!

Three Lambton County Radio Club (Canada) members (VE3GNF, VA3KWZ and VA3KSF) recently ran a very successful 2023 RAC Canada Day Contest from Pelee Island, Ontario. Just shy of 500 HF contacts were made by the team from the southernmost populated place in Canada.

Lots of fun at the Lambton County (Sarnia, Ontario Canada) Radio Club’s Field Day activation. Good band conditions, good food and good friends.

Had a great weekend with Ken (VA3KWZ), his XYL Jane, my XYL Kate (VA3OGF/KB1OGF) at Ken and Jane’s cottage on Pelee Island, Ontario. Pelee Island is the southernmost inhabited place in Canada. We set up a station and antennas for use in the Canada Day Contest on July 1st.
