Severe weather is possible across the Plains today from Texas to Minnesota, with the highest chances for significant winds and tornadoes existing in Oklahoma, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Potentially high end, long track tornadoes are possible. Have a way to receive warnings!

Severe weather will be possible tomorrow across the OH, WV, the Shenandoah Valley in Western VA, PA and MD. Storms expected to develop in the late afternoon, with supercell and tornado potential in OH, KY, WV and Western VA. Strong winds and Hail are the main risks in VA.

A line pushes east today with damaging winds, heavy rain and hail - triggering 2% and 5% 🌪 outlooks from the SPC, embedded rotation within the line or robust updrafts in storms ahead of the line could be responsible for a few tornadoes, especially between east VA to Georgia!

Catastrophic damage has been reported across Myanmar and as far as Bangkok from a significant 7.7 #earthquake that occurred a few hours ago.

Heavy rain, along with isolated supercells, are possible within a low near the Texas coast. This could make ongoing flooding worse as the day goes on, and brief tornadoes are possible in any supercells that are are strong enough to go severe.

An ELEVATED risk of fire potential exists up the Appalachians, Allegheny and Blue Ridge Mountains today - from Atlanta, GA through to Baltimore, MD and anywhere in between. This is due to the combination of soil moisture being low, extremely low humidity, and gusty winds.
