Between @HolHumberstone’s debut album, ‘Paint My Bedroom Black,’ and her recently released sophomore album, ‘Cruel World,’ a lot has shifted. “This past year and a half, I’ve rediscovered bits of me that used to be so integral to who I am,” the musician tells V.
When it comes to songwriting, her creative world has expanded. For ‘Cruel World,’ Humberstone approached the process “with an open mind” and “learned to take it less seriously.” In shaping the visual aesthetic for the new album, Humberstone collaborated with her sister alongside Creative Director Silken Weinberg. “I wanted it to feel like this fantasy world inspired by everything that I used to love as a kid.”
With performances at major festivals lined up this year, along with a North American tour, there seems to be no slowing down for Humberstone—and she prefers it that way.

Following the frenzy that ‘The Substance’ brought to both @justdemi and Hollywood, her next act might be her most adventurous: a surreal, fashion-infused crime comedy titled ‘I Love Boosters.’
Moore stars as Christie Smith, a ruthless and stylish fashion mogul, alongside fellow industry vet Keke Palmer as Corvettethe leader of a chic crew of criminals who engage in fashion-forward philanthropy by stealing designer goods.
“I don’t even know if, after I read [the script for ‘I Love Boosters’], I fully understood it. But I understood that to go on the journey with him, when I got to the other side, I would have more of me—that there would be something more expanded in me, in every respect.”

Nearly two decades since her first V cover, #DemiMoore is back—and MOORE fabulous than ever—as the star of our V160 Summer 2026 issue.
A true demimonde—living just outside the bounds of convention—@justdemi has long been both insider and outsider to Hollywood’s machine. In recent years, she stepped back from the glare before returning with ‘The Substance’ in 2024, a film that received a 13-minute ovation at Cannes, earned her a long-overdue Oscar nomination, and reaffirmed her status as Hollywood’s Queen of Subversion. Her next act? A surreal, fashion-infused film by director Boots Riley—’I Love Boosters’—alongside fellow force Keke Palmer.
For our latest issue, Moore sits down with Palmer to talk all things legacy, reinvention, and the evolving landscape of Hollywood.

ZARA LARSSON CLAIMS HER MOMENT! 🍒
Before her most recent release, 2025’s ‘Midnight Sun,’ which earned @zaralarsson her first Grammy nomination, she had already released four full-length albums. Her success was never in question. Its scale, however, is only now catching up. Eighteen years into the game, Larsson finds herself at a cultural peak that feels both overdue and perfectly timed.
“I’m trying to stay in the moment and actually enjoy all of this because, as you said, I’ve been doing this for a long time,” she tells V. "I feel like the momentum is fully in swing, so I’m just trying to hold onto it and move with it.”
