The Panel discussion also shared different perspectives on the current situation of AMR in animal health sector.
The programme provided opportunity to make a presentation on What is AMR in Animal Health?,the consequences and the how to reduce it.A Panel discussion was held for Representatives of Animal Research,UG-Veterinary School, Poultry Farmers and Veterinary Services.

The Veterinary Services invited stakeholders in Animal Health including Development partners for discussion on AMR Control on 26th November,2025 at CLOSSAG Auditorium-Accra.
The Ghana Christian Veterinary Mission leadership used the occasion to inform the CVO of their prayers for him and the entire department.
The CVO thanked them for the visit and for choosing Ghana for the outreach.He supported the outreach with some PPEs.
African Christian Veterinarians Visit the Chief Veterinary Officer.
The Team comprising of Veterinarians from US, Uganda and other African Countries informed the CVO of their planned outreach in the Central Region which is avenue to showcase the veterinary profession.

The Christian Veterinary Africa Network(CVAN) paid a courtesy call on the Chief Veterinary Officer,Dr. Emmanuel Allegye-Cudjoe on 17th November,2025 ahead of their 2025 Christian Veterinary Mission in Ghana.

QMS and ISO accreditation coaching for other animal health labs in Africa as well as avenues for future partnerships between the two, beyond the Fleming Fund.
Both parties from NFSL Ghana and APHA UK further discussed areas of collaboration at a roundtable meeting highlighting genomic analysis of isolates from the ongoing Farmer Field Project in Ghana, Review and standardisation of SOPs for Salmonella isolation and serotyping.
This training in October 2025 was to extend capacity in Salmonella serotyping exploring 2 new methods; the microagglutination test (MAT) and the Tube testing. As part of the training, participants were also taken through the Sensititre microbroth dilution method for AST.

Under the Animal health System Strengthening project between Ghana and the UK, the Animal and Plant Health Agency UK hosted some staff of the National food safety Laboratory for a 1 week training.
