.@DrPanMD’s response to stalking/harassment of @kdlaw President @MedBoardOfCA: “Anti-vaccine extremists and others who peddle disinformation know they cannot succeed with facts & science so they resort to personal attacks.” It’s a threat to all of us. https://t.co/W6C6dHOEmh
🧵 On Monday, I was followed and confronted by a group that peddles medical disinformation, promotes fake COVID-19 treatments, and is under investigation by Congress for stealing millions of dollars from consumers. It was a terrifying experience. /1

You: "Y'all dead set on trying to get folks to take that devil shot, ain't you?" *shakes head*
Me: *shrug* "I'm pretty dead set on trying to stop this virus from killing and disabling folks. So if that means getting a shot, I guess so."
You snorted.
@lizditz @WFKARS @DebErupts For those wishing for a COVID vax mandate without a personal belief exemption, the CA governor cannot make that happen that on his own under current law. He could, however, call for legislation to do exactly that.
@lizditz @WFKARS @DebErupts Unless the legislature acts, the governor’s announcement will have to be implemented through the California Department of Public Health. California law specifies that any vaccine required for school through regulatory action will have a personal belief exemption.
@lizditz @WFKARS @DebErupts In any event, FDA full approval for ages 12+ is not expected this calendar year (although theoretically possible), so it is likely that this will not be in effect until July 2022, meaning next academic year. The Legislature has time to act.
