Next it’s back to Broadhurst Park for a much anticipated fixture for @FCUnitedWomen as they take on Mancunian Unity who they last played in May, beating them on pens to lift the Manchester FA Challenge Cup. (KO 7:45)
Our 2nd away game takes us to the lovely town of Whitby - one of our furthest trips in the league (especially for a school night! 😮💨). Got to experience some of the charming Whitby hospitality with Colin giving me an aptly coloured red blanket as the sea air brought the temp down
Sainz is very ambitious, so is Vowles and Williams.
And despite their current form (and the pain fans will probably have to endure through 2025), it’s a very smart move and I’d argue, fans of Sainz have a lot more to be optimistic about than they might think.
Noone’s asked but I’m going to give you my two cents on the Sainz move to Williams. 🧵
On paper? Looks like a big downgrade from Ferrari. But this could absolutely be a masterstroke from Sainz and Vowles.
A two year contract with options to extend - what makes it so good then?
Either Williams ends up a lot more competitive post-2026 and he earns a himself a longer stay or if their technical development fails to live up to their aspirations, he’ll have proven himself, exceeding expectations and potentially earn a move elsewhere that is more competitive.
With the Challenge Cup final in less than 48 hours, there’s still time to get a ticket and spur your team on as we fight for silverware - you do NOT want to miss this. 👀⚽️🔥

We are focussing on #SkillsForLife and have looked at job applications, how to write a good covering letter, role playing for job interviews and had tours of the technical spaces. It's been a great opportunity for all apprentices to make connections across institutions! 2/2
