From a player perspective this might be counter intuitive because of the VRS implications.

ESL Pro League has always been to entertain, create looser formats and to just enjoy the games in an environment that is more akin to a watchparty.

Although VRS made all the great ideas almost redundant, but these tournaments help with a packed to lighten up a bit more.
