No. Not for like 10 years. The last one that I felt like that about was Edge Of The World with Kooma and it really slipped under the radar. Maybe I’m not fearless enough with my marketing? Maybe I’m too mild about getting my old listeners to take a chance on the new?

the reality is that I’ve been treating my art like a job for better or worse for a long time and it kinda sucks. I’m businesslike with my songs because they don’t fully mean something to me since I’m trying to be efficient and move on to the next thing. Do I feel fulfilled?

it’s crazy how stressful it is to do something different when whatever you’re currently doing is working -good enough- .. I know I will thrive doing my new stuff but when 9/10 of my listeners reminisce about the good old days of my music it just eats away my resolve haha
