Transpires my @GC_Rail train doesn’t have WiFi because the company don’t think it’s worth it on this service. So approx 3.5 hours (plus the current delay) of work time lost. Just not good enough when paying hundreds of pound for a ticket :(

Pl help @USAinUKConsular - @EmbSpainUK require criminal records check for student visa for daughter who did sandwich yr at UCLA as part of London uni degree. U require social sec no to do check but she didn’t hv one as student. Your office only directs to webpage that says same
@EmbSpainUK my daughter is a student &spent a sandwich year in US as part of her course .Now coming to study in Spain and you want criminal records check from US . The US need a social security number to do this and she has never had one . Can’t get thru to anyone. Help. Urgent
No changes to Lifetime ISAs penalty for 1st time buyers buying homes over £450,000 I'm afraid.
As I've been campaigning on it, Chancellor told me just before the budget he said the reason he's not doing it "I wanted to do a big home ownership package but that doesn’t work until property prices are definitely rising and I still have to keep an eye on overall borrowing." He also told me "I want to do more than remove the penalty. I want to reform LISAs."
I am of course disappointed there are no changes this time, but at least it is not off the table. #Budget2024 #BudgetXplanations
