My relationship with Tekken 8 is kinda strange. Sometimes I really like it, it feels like a puzzle I want to solve. But other times it’s just so frustrating. I lose and think, “Where was I wrong? I did everything right.

The state of Tekken is extremely volatile right now. The more I play the game, the more depressed I become. It feels like the game has devolved into a single launcher, followed by 50/50 mix-ups, and that's it. The game needs systematic changes more than balance changes imo

We are currently investigating a very rare and special case.

*Specific area Matching Issue*

We have confirmed that some players in Oceania and Indonesia (Jakarta) are experiencing rare cases where they are matched without any problems in Tekken 7, but in Tekken 8, they are having difficulty being matched, and even if they are matched, they are only matched with distant countries with pings between 250 and 300.
Since this is a very specific case, we do not have enough information to determine the cause of the problem (We have a hypothesis, but no proof. We have too few sample cases). If you have similar symptoms, if possible, could you please send me a reply with your TEKKEN ID, PLAYER NAME and the country you are playing in?

Tekken8 CNT Review

I don't care about the balance of each character.
I think the development team will adjust it later anyway.

Graphic
Some people who said their eyes were tired due to the excessive effects of the game. It was okay for me
I think Tekken8 graphics really awesome

Special controller Style
New update in Tekken8
There are many types of hot keys that you can use.
so I don't want to one slot as a Special Control.
it's changed, one button hot key = Bryan's Taunt
So I don't think it will be used from a certain level or higher. It was embarrassing when the special control was suddenly activated in game. I turned it off quickly.

Guard damage
I don't understand. I feel like blocking is wrong.
I think if the defense is strong, it should be praised.
It is made by player effort.
The reason why viewers and opponents couldn't enjoy a game played by a person with strong defense in the Tekken game.
The infinite stage and many nerf of characters. so it became a poking game. and some characters with quick backdashes. I think it's the balance adjustment failed
And Guard damage very difficult to check during the game. I don't even know when the guard damage was created like that.

Heat System
I don't think the heat system is necessarily aggressive.
Some enhancement moves and smashes made Mindgame very simple. It gets boring quickly. a lot of 50/50 situation, Big gain in one success. so rather than an aggressive game, It's like an OX quiz.

Online Play
Crossplay is really good. Now you won't have to worry about the platform.
but a lot of laggy situations in the Steam ver. Sometimes the game is crashed.
The biggest problem is that when it is PC vs. PC, low spec computer user become the standard
So it's very slow and it's hard to play the game properly.
Not sure. But people say low specs are become the standard.
I think this is the biggest problem.

There was no problem with the PS5.

It's been fun. I hope I get a chance to play again next time.
